Naomi F. Long, at a local hospital, March 11, late resident of 1896 Lee St. Survived by a nephew, Virgil E. Starr, Salem. Announcement of funeral services later by Howell-Edwards Chapel. Oregon Statesman 12 March 1952 5:2 Naomi Long, 88, Succumbs. Mrs. Naomi F. Long, 88, long-time resident of Salem, died Tuesday at a local hospital. A late resident of 1896 Lee St., Mrs. Long has been ill for the past several years according to her nephew, Virgil E. Starr, 2890 Lansing Ave. She was a member of Knight Memorial Church here. The deceased was born Nov. 28, 1864, in Kansas, and came to Salem with her parents when she was about 13. She has lived here since then. Her husband, Charles H. Long, prominent local fruit-grower, died about 22 years ago. Funeral services for Mrs. Long will bw announced by the Howell-Edwards Funeral Chapel. Oregon Statesman 12 March 1952 14:1 Naomi F. Starr, Salem; nieces, Mrs. Edna Straw and Mrs. Jesse Starr of Salem; Mrs. Helen Beecroft, Portland; Mrs. Mildred Yates, Milwaukie, and Miss Marion Doty, Portland.
