OBITUARY: A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, in Farnstrom-Gable Funeral Chapel for Lois Alwayne Moore, who died Oct. 18 of cancer at age 89.
Lois Updike was born March 9, 1918, in North Bend. A homemaker, she lived in Portland and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. In 1945, she married Wallace; he died in 1994.
Survivors include her son, Bruce; daughter, Patricia Maple; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
