OBITUARY:

Jane was born April 15, in Wausau, Wisconsin, the second of three children born to Frances Clarke and Samuel Stockum. Shortly thereafter, her family moved to Oakland, California where her father was employed with Tilden Lumber Company. She graduated from UC Berkley with a degree in history. She enjoyed cooking, music, card playing and crossword puzzles. She was a member of several bridge clubs. She volunteered at Alameda Hospital for many years.
Her daughters will treasure their mother's role in their lives. She was always there, greeted you with a smile, and saw the brighter side of life. Her exceptional love, positive outlook, and support will remain a dynamic influence in all the lives she touched. And, throughout their marriage, William was the love of her live, her best friend and soul mate.
