NOTE parents were later divorced. Marvel died 2 Feb 1985 in Lane co, Oregon, and was buried in the Brooks Pioneer Cemetery. Edith remarried 19 Sept 1934 at Vancouver, Clark co, Washington to Raymond A. Fields. She died 26 June 2008 at Las Vegas, Clark Co, Nevada

OBITUARY: 

Deaths. Caramella Blanton at the residence, 1645 South Capitol street, October 6, infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Marvel Blanton. Survived by siter, Cherie Lee and brother, Marvel Jr; grandparents, Mr and Mrs C. Moore of Salem, and Mr and Mrs Raymond Blanton of Beaver. Funeral services were held at the IOOF cemetery Monday, Oct 8, at 10:30 am. Arrangements were in charge of the Clough-Barrick company.
