OBITUARY:
DIED -- James McCracken who came to this State from Canada, during the last Summer, died at his residence in this city, last night. He had been unwell for some weeks, and on Sunday last was taken severely sick of typhoid fever. Dr. Kibbie was called and did all that could be done in the matter, but death released the patient of his earthly troubles, as stated above. About 3 o'clock P.M. the patient ceased to talk and also ceased to breathe but evidences of circulation of the blood continued up to about 10 o'clock at night. Dr. Kibbie remained with the patient as long as there was any hope of resuscitation. Arrangements for the funeral had not been made up to the hour of going to press.
