England, is enumerated with wife Charlotte, age 53, b. England, along with children Emma, age 22, Fredrick, age 19, and Frank, age 10, all born in Illinois; 1889-90 - boards 84 Commercial. DISCREPANCY - Marker says year of death is 1890 - but is in IOOF Register and OS Necrological listing for year of 1889 OBITUARY:  Suicide at the Asylum.  Geo. Brown, aged 62 years, an inmate of the asylum since the 12th, of last December, committed suicide there Monday night by hanging himself to the wire guard of the window with a sheet from his bed which he had twisted into a rope in the absence of his roommate, who was attending the dance at the time. His principal trouble was melancholia, which was superinduced by injuries to his spine received four or five years ago in a runaway accident. He was subject to ungovernable impulses to kill somebody or kill himself, and it was doubtless in one of these moods that he committed the rash act.  Coroner Byland was notified of the sad occurrence and came up yesterday from Woodburn. He summoned H. A. Johnson, Geo. D. Goodhue, A. A. Miller, G. W. Johnson, A. J. Basey and J. J. Basey to act as jurors, who after a full investigation found a verdict in accordance with the above facts.  Mr. Brown was a native of England, and was for several years a highly respected citizen of this county.
