Thomas Jefferson Cade, late resident of 490 Fir Knoll Lane, at a local nursing home May 21 at the age of 68. Survived by widow, Mrs. Inez Cade of Salem; one son, Hale T. of the U. S. Army in Japan; sisters, Mrs. Dollie Cobiney of Independence; Mrs. Myrtle Riley of Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Annie Furnish of Siletz; four brothers, John of San Angelo, Tex.; W. E. of Albany, Edward of Long Beach, Calif. and Viron of McClary, Wash. Also two grandchildren. Services will be held at the Howell-Edwards Chapel Saturday, May 31, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. -?---d Anderson officiating and interment in the IOOF Cemetery.
