OBITUARY: 
Mrs. W. H. Carroll Dead
The sad news reached this city early this morning of the death of Mrs. W. H. Carroll, who passed away at her home in Roseburg at 2 o'clock this (Tuesday) morning. Mrs. Carroll has been ill for the past ten months of tuberculosis of the lungs, and all through her sickness she has been a patient and uncomplaining sufferer.
Etta Williamson was born in Iowa in the year 1876, and when but a child came with her parents to Oregon. She lived in Salem the greater part of her life, and has many friends. About five years ago she was married to Mr. W. H. Carroll, of Roseburg, and has lived in that city since. She leavers her mother, Mrs. Mary E. Holcomb, a brother, Charles Williamson, also an aunt, Mrs. Frank Lennon, and uncles, Charles and L. W. Benson, all of Salem.
She was a member of the Roseburg Lilac Circle, No. 49, Women of Woodcraft.
Her body will arrive tomorrow, Wednesday, and the funeral will be Thursday afternoon from the home of her mother, Mrs. M. E. Holcomb, 1160 South Commercial street, and the interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Rev. W. H. Selleck, pastor of the First M. E. church, will conduct the services.
