Catterlin, age 49 [sic], died yesterday at 465 North Twelfth street. He is survived by his wife, four sons, F.J. Catterline of Los Angeles, W.E. Catterlin of Yamhill, George C. Catterlin of Portland, and Frank E. Catterlin of Corvallis; a daughter, Mrs. Florence Erwin of Salem, and one sister, Mrs. David Clearwater of Portland. Services will be held at Rigdon’s chapel Saturday at 10 a.m., Rev. R.N. Avison officiating. Interment will take place in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Catterlin will be held at the Rigdon undertaking parlors at 10 o’clock this morning, in charge of R.N. Avison, pastor of the Fist Methodist church. Mrs. Hallie Parrish Durdall will sing. The interment will be at the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Solomon B. Catterlin died at the family home, 465 North Twelfth street, at 10 o’clock a.m. Thursday, August 12, 1920, at the age of 83 years and 28 days. He leaves a wife, four sons and one daughter. They are F.J. Catterlin of Los Angeles, W.E. Catterlin of Yamhill, S.E. Catterlin of Portland, Frank F. Catterlin of Corvallis and Florence Irwin of Salem; besides one sister, Mrs. David Clearwater of Portland. Mr. Catterlin had been long a resident of Salem and was very well known to all old residents.
