OBITUARY: CHILDERS--Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Bruning Mission Mortuary for Mrs. Rena Boyle Childers, aged 85, of 3018 Southeast Morrison street, who died Saturday. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Salem. Mrs. Childers was the daughter of the late Dr. J. W. and Josephine Ford Boyle, early pioneers of Oregon. She was born at Rickreall, Polk county, January 13, 1855. She received her education in Salem. In 1889 she came to Portland, where she lived continuously since. She was a member of the Episcopal church and the Oregon Pioneers’ association. Surviving are Milton B. Childers, a son, and Mrs. W. H. Warren, a daughter, both of Portland; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
