DISCREPANCY - name is given as Crowder in IOOF, but as Crowden in obit OBITUARY:  In Albany, Oct. 26, 1889, at 3 a.m., J. L. Crowden. A. W. Fowler, of North Salem, is a brother-in-law of the deceased, whose death occurred after a short illness of pneumonia. The remains were brought to this city on the Eugene express. Deceased was an Odd Fellow. He will be buried tomorrow morning.
