OBITUARY: At the home of Mel. Lane, Sunday, April 1, 1895, from pneumonia, Benj. Davis, of Eastern Oregon, aged 45 years. Mr. Davis leaves a wife and six children. He was a cousin of Mr. Lane, and formerly resided in Salem. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today and interment will be in Rural cemetery. Daily Oregon Statesman 2 Apr 1895 4:5
