OBITUARY:
DRUNK -- NOW DEAD -- James Donahue died rather suddenly at the Salem Hospital Sunday after having had a broken leg set. He was brought to the hospital from Independence Saturday night by the marshal of that town. He had been arrested for being drunk and had been ordered out of town.  In leaving the town he fell from a bridge and broke his leg.  The fractured member was set by Dr. W. Carleton Smith and the man was thought to be resting easily and out of danger, but he died suddenly about noon Sunday.
