OBITUARY: 

At the family residence, 1095 Broadway, Salem. Oregon, Friday, November 11, 1914, at 8:30 o'clock p.m., Mrs. Roseanna Friebert, aged 67 years, of paralysis.
Mrs. Friebert was born in Logansport, Indiana in 1847, and crossed the plains to Oregon at the age of 4 years with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Spong, settling at Lincoln, in Polk County upon a homestead. She was married to John Byrn December 4, 1864, and later to Max Friebert, October 16, 1887.
Deceased was a resident of North Salem for several years and was well known and made many friends among her neighbors. Mrs. Friebert was in good health until five weeks ago when she had a severe stroke of paralysis.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters and two sons. Those are Mrs. Georgia West of Portland, Or.; Mrs. Arthur Glover, of 796 Market street; Miss Detonia Byrn and Frank Friebert, of Salem, and Claud D. Byrn of Portland; also three brothers and two sisters: Captain A. J. and J. M. Sprong of Lincoln; Phil Sprong of Cottage Grover; Mrs. Walter Black, of Carson, Wash., and Mrs. G. W. Johns of Salem. The funeral services will be held at the First Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will take place in Odd Fellows cemetery. Rev. H. E. Marshall will conduct the services.
