Very Low.
Mrs. Al Godfrey, the daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. James Godfrey, who is now at the Capitol hospital, was reported last night as being very low, and it was not expected that she would live until morning.
Mrs. Godfrey was taken sick last Sunday, and becoming rapidly worse, was transferred to the hospital. She was formerly Miss Hannah Kirk [Kurtz] and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Kirk [Kurtz]formerly of the River road but now of this city.

MRS. GODFREY TO BE BURIED TODAY.
FUNERAL OF SALEM WOMAN TAKES PLACE FROM MOTHODIEST CHURCH TODAY.
From the First M. E. church today at 2:30 will take place the funeral of Mrs. Hannah M. Godfrey, who died at the Capitol hospital Sunday morning. Rev. Dr. R. N. Avison, pastor of the church, of which Mrs. Godfrey had been a member since childhood, will have charge of the service and will be assisted by Rev. David Errett of the Christian church.
Mrs. Godfrey was a well-known Salem woman, her family and that of the family into which she married being among the city's oldest. Before her marriage Mrs. Godfrey had been a stenographer in the Statesman office.
Mrs. Godfrey was born at Lancaster, Neb., November 21, 1879, and came to this state with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Kurtz, in 1888. On August 27, 1903, she married Alvan L. Godfrey, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Godfrey, and leaves besides her husband, two children, Freddie, age 8 years, and Dorothy, age 4. The funeral will take place at 2:30 this afternoon and interment will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery.

FUNERAL OF MRS. GODFREY IS HELD.
IMPRESSIVE SERVICE HELD AT THE FIRST M. E. CHURCH YESTERDAY.
The funeral of Mrs. Hannah M. Godfrey who passed away Sunday morning was held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 at the First M. E. church. Owing to the illness of Dr. Avison, Dr. Fletcher Homan, president of Willamette university had charge of the services assisted by Rev. Davis Errett, pastor of the First Christian church.
A quartet consisting of Mrs. Davis Errett, Mrs. J. Wenger, J. F. Smith, and Fred Metz sang three selections, "Jesus Lover of My Soul", "Nearer My God to Thee", and "My Latest Sun is Sinking Fast". These songs were sang at her request because Mrs. Godfrey had sung them as she was dying. Many beautiful flowers were brought as tokens of remembrance by the friends of the deceased. Among these were a number of beautiful floral pieces from California.
Interment took place in the I. O. O. F. cemetery. Pallbearers were: Russell Smith, J. A. Pooler, Joseph Alberts, Paul Wallace, L. A. Davis, and U. J. Lehman. Among the out of town people who attended the funeral were the following from Portland: Mrs. Auda Frazer, Miss Edna Goodhue, Mrs. Ida D. Smith, and Mr. Val Decreoux.
