OBITUARY: Forger Larson Dies.
The remains of forger Lawson, who died late Sunday night at the state penitentiary, were interred Sunday by Coroner A. M. Clough. Lawson is the man who in December, 1894, forged Rev. W. E. Copeland's name to a number of checks. Being suspicioned, Lawson was arrested, tried and found guilty and sentenced to a term in the state penitentiary.
