OBITUARY: 

Howard Leach, 75, 9960 18th St. NE, died Wednesday at a Sublimity nursing home. He was born at Eight Mile, near Hepner, and lived at Salem 68 years. He sold real estate for several Salem firms and retired from Salem Properties seven years ago. Survivers include the widow Eldora, Salem; son, Lyle, Pueblo, Colo.; step-daughters Mrs. Darlene Lewis, Mrs. Betty Hunter, and Mrs. Karren Smith, all of Salem; step-sons Theodore Hutchinson, Burley, Idaho, and Ronald Hutchinson, Independence; sister Mrs. Delia English, Salem; 19 grandchildren. Services will be a 11 a.m. Saturday at Barrick mortuary. Private interment will be at Salem Pioneer Cemetery.
