NOTES: IOOF - H. S. Lee, male, age 36, died in Salem of suicide. NOTE - City lot record indicates that all burials listed in Lot #720 have been moved to Lot #721--per phone call March 21, 1967 from City View.

OBITUARY: S. H. Lee, a Korean, who for some time past has been working for John Gong, a gardener, several miles up the river, was found yesterday morning hanging by his neck from a pole at Gong’s ranch. Several weeks ago the Korean left the employ of Gong. Monday he returned and wanted work again, evidently having spent his money. Gong did not know whether to employ him or not and gave the Korean no satisfaction. However, yesterday morning about 6:30 the body of Lee was found hanging to a post, dead as the proverbial doornail.
