OBITUARY:
At the home of H.F. Smith, south of Salem, Monday, July 24, 1899, aged 82 years. Deceased was the mother of six children, viz: Helen J. Parrott of the Dalles; J. G. Dowle of Vancouver, Wash., Mrs. A. McCoy of Portland; Mrs. B.F. Moore, of Eugene; Mrs. W.D. McGee and Mrs. H.F. Smith of Salem. The cause of her death was pneumonia.
