OBITUARY:  At the residence of his father, in this city, at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 1883, of quick consumption, Frank Parmenter, aged 32 years. The deceased grew up from childhood in Salem, and was known to almost everyone in the city, by whom he was honored and respected for his many good traits of character. Twenty years ago, when a bright lad of twelve, Frank was the carrier of the Statesman, and his employer always found him honest and faithful, qualities which never forsook him when he reached manhood and entered upon the serious trials of life.
