OBITUARY: 

Tom S. Reynolds

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Holman & Lutz chapel for Tom S. Reynolds, 71, a native Oregonian, who died last week.

Reynolds was born August 23, 18870, at Salem and came to Portland with his parents when a child. A sheet metal worker, he assisted with the construction of famed Skidmore fountain in downtown Portland.

He was employed by the Oregon state hospital form 1892 to 1897, when he resigned to work for Wells-Fargo & Co. After 18 years with Wells-Fargo, Reynolds returned to sheet metal work i 1917, taking charge of all such work for the three shipyards operated by G. M. Standifer & Co.

At the close of the world war he entered the sheet metal business for himself and dfor several years was a delegate to the central labor council for the metal trades union.

Survivors include the widow, Gertrude; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Turner, and a grand-daughter, Elizabeth Rosky.
