OBITUARY: 

BEYERLE -- Ora 'Jeannette' Beyerle, Aug. 1, 1917 -- Aug. 6, 2000. Beaverton -- Ora Beyerle, 83, died Sunday of respiratory failure. Born in Portland, she attended school in Perrydale and received her teaching certificate from [Oregon] Normal School [in Monmouth] in 1937. During her 27-year teaching career she taught grade school in Weiser, Idaho; Ontario, Toledo and Newport. She lived in Newport from 1956-1966, then moved to Keizer Retirement Village. She moved to Barberry Lane Adult Foster Care in Beaverton in April. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Newport and Eastern Star. She enjoyed watercolor painting, organ piano, gardening and fishing. She married James in 1938; he died in 1984. She was preceded in death by a grandchild. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Burch of Vernonia; son, James of Keizer; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at City View Funeral Home in Salem, Interment will be private at Pioneer Cemetery.
