OBITUARY: 
ROBERT B. FATLAND Dec. 3, 1924 - Dec. 29, 1995. 
Robert B. Fatland, 71, died Friday. He was born in Condon and lived in Salem for many years. He served in the Navy Medical Corps during World War II and was a medic in the Marines during the Korean War. He graduated from Willamette University and was a registered sanitarian for Marion County Health Department, retiring in 1980. He was president of the Marion County Employees Association, and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Condon. 
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; daughters, Mary Macy of Salem and Molly Mellon of Duluth, Georgia; brother Jack of Condon; and three grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where he was a member. Arrangements are by Howell-Edwards Doerksen mortuary. Contributions: chuch memorial fund.
