In Portland Monday, January 22, Hester Peyree Carpenter, late resident of Kelso, Washington. Wife of John Carpenter and mother of Mrs. June Oglesby, Mrs. Willette Hansen, Warren and Wanda Carpenter, all of Kelso, daughter of Mrs. Ida Peyree of Salem, sister of Bert Peyree of Stayton, John Peyree of Salem, William Peyree of Independence, and Mrs. Minnie Drager of Oregon City. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the W. T. Rigdon company Thursday, January 25, at 1:30 p.m., Rev. H. C. Stover officiating. Concluding services IOOF cemetery.
