OBITUARY: CARPENTER - At the family home in North Salem Friday, Feb. 14, at 9:30 p.m., Miss Jennie Carpenter, aged 32 years, of typhoid fever, after an illness of three weeks. Deceased is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Carpenter of North Salem. She was born in Iowa and has lived here for several years. The funeral will be held from the residence Sunday at 1:30 p.m. The services will be conducted by Elder George of the Firends church. The Daily Journal 15 Feb 1902 4:4
