1880 OR CENSUS - Ines V. Cherry, age 20 b. Oregon, is enumerated with husband C. C. Cherry, age 27, occupation machinist, b. North Carolina.
Mrs. E. C. Adair purchased Lot #209, 31 Aug. 1872 for $10. Adair appears on the Owners Map of 1966. CMW shows that a marker for Ines Adair [Cherry] was ordered by Florence C. Adair.

OBITUARY: FORMERLY of SALEM.
Mrs. C. C. Cherry, formerly Miss Inez Adair, died at her home in Tacoma, Washington, yesterday. The remains will be brought to Salem for burial, and will be taken by the electric cars directly from the depot to the cemetery, on arrival of the remains at 11:17 Thursday morning.

CHERRY -- The remains of Mrs. C. C. Cherry will arrive by the 11:17 train today, for burial in the Rural cemetery. Friends of the family will take the electric car at the depot or Willamette hotel on arrival of the train. Burial service at the grave, conducted by P. S. Knight.
