OBITUARY: 
At the residence of his mother, Mrs. Nancy Clark, 322 Fourteenth street, at 8 a.m. Sunday, April 21, 1895, of lung fever, William P. Clark, aged 39 years, 1 month and 5 days. Mr. Clark was born in Polk county March 16th, 1856. When about one year old his parents moved to Salem, where he has resided ever since with the exception of a few years spent in Eastern Oregon. All that medical aid could do was done for him, but after an illness of three weeks he passed peacefully away. He leaves a mother, four sisters, one brother and two little daughters, his wife having died nine years ago. Rev. P. S. Knight will officiate at the funeral to be held today at the residence of Mrs. Clark at 2 p.m. The interment will be in Rural cemetery.
