OBITUARY:
CLOUGH - At the home of her son-in-law Mr. Pickard, on Cottage street, between Ferry and Trade, Salem, Jan. 11, 1896, at 10:30 p.m., Mrs. Elizabeth A. Clough aged 67 years. Her demise was quite sudden and was caused by heart trouble. She had been in poor health for some time but her condition was not at all critical until about an hour before she breathed her last. Her husband preceded her in death some years ago. Deceased was a native of Ohio. When she was quite young, herself and parents removed to New York where they lived several years. She was a resident of Council Bluffs, Iowa, also for some time and came to Oregon last August. The funeral was held yesterday at 2 p.m., Rev. G. W. Grannis officiating and the remains were buried in Rural cemetery.
