OBITUARY: 
John Crittenden Coffey, 72, died Monday afternoon at the family home in the Liberty district. Marion county pioneer, survived by his widow Jane Coffey, three sons, Ernest, Ray and Ora, all of Salem; two brothers, Frank N. of Salem, and T.S. of The Dalles; also six grandchildren. Funeral services at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Clough-Huston chapel, Rev. R. Putnam officiating. Interment Odd Fellows cemetery.
