OBITUARY: 
John Bertram Colwell, 77, at a local hospital, May 28. Late resident of 1125 Hoyt street. Survived by sister, Mrs. Ella T. Staples of Salem; nieces Lolo Halford of Salem, Mrs. E. L. Clover of Montana; nephews, R. L and H. A. Staples, both of Salem. Services will be held from the Clough-Barrick chapel Wednesday, May 31, at 3:30 p.m. Interment at IOOF cemetery.
