OBITUARY: 
COX - At her home, No. 333 Front street, Wednesday night, September 28, 1892, from bronchitis, Mrs. Loretta A. Cox, aged 54 years, after an illness of three and a half years. 
Deceased was the wife of Thomas H. Cox, who died in this city September 4, 1873, and has many friends in this city. She was born in Knox county, Illinois, and came to Oregon in '53. Five years later she was married in this county. 
She leaves two daughters, Miss Eva F. Cox and Mrs. Clara M. Ogle, of this city. Three sisters in Oregon and one in Illinois survive her. Mrs. C. Johnson, of Salem, is a niece of the deceased. The funeral arrangements will be announced today.
