OBITUARY:
In Salem, September 1st, at 8:15 a.m. of diphtheria, Maudie, only remaining child of T. H. and E. B. Crawford, aged 10 years, 3 months and 12 days. The funeral services of the children of Prof. Crawford will be held at the family residence on Piety Hill this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
