Meeker M. Culver, Veteran, is Dead.
Funeral Is Today. 
Meeker M. Culver, a Civil War veteran, passed away Wednesday at his home south of Salem near the state training school. He was 71 years old. During the Civil war he fought with the sixth Michigan heavy artillery. He is survived by one son, Robert Culver, of this city. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Terwilliger home and he will be laid to rest in the family lot in Odd Fellows cemetery.
