DEATH CERTIFICATE:
OBITUARY:
DIED - J. Pratt, son of F. J. and Ida Babcock, died of diphtheria, Saturday at 1:15 p.m., aged five and one-half years.  The funeral will occur of Monday.
To the memory of Pratt B abcock, these lines are inscribed by one who loved him:
The Father has claimed His own,
Has called him with voice divine,
And the soul has answering flown;
What right then have we to repine?
The Father has claimed His own,
With justice how can we complain?
He gave - He hath taken away,
He lending - required again.
The father has claimed His own,
And Jesus so gentle and mild
Has stretched forth the hand of love
To welcome an innocent child.
To welcome him home to Heaven,
All the angels rejoice to-night,
For a child from sin released
Has entered the realms of light.
The Father has claimed His own,
In His love has taken away
A child from the sorrows of earth
To the realms of Eternal Day.   Com.
