OBITUARY: 

DIECKMAN - At the family home, in North Salem, on Thursday, March 25, 1897, at 3:30 o’clock a.m., Letha May, the 7-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Dieckman, late of Eastern Oregon. Her malady was diphtheria. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 3 p.m. and interment followed in Rural cemetery.
