OBITUARY: 
At the family home, corner of Mill and Capital streets, Salem, Oregon, Wednesday, January 20, 1904, at 1 o’clock a.m., Miss Nellie Evans, aged 23 years, 7 months, 16 days.
Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Evans, Sr., and was born in this city June 4, 1880, where she had lived ever since and endeared herself to all with whom she came in contact with her loving, kind and sunny disposition. Her presence will be sadly missed in the circle of society in which she was accustomed to move and the parents and relatives will receive the deepest sympathies of loving friends and neighbors in the hour of their bereavement. Will Hold Funeral Today The funeral of Miss Nellie C. Evans, who passed away yesterday morning after a protracted illness, will be held from the family home, corner of Capitol and Mill streets, at 2 p.m. today. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. W. C. Kantner and the remains will be interred at the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
