Mrs. S. Fisher, 91, Dies in Salem
SALEM, Or., Dec. 16 - (Special) - Mrs. Susanna Fisher, 91, and pioneer of Oregon, died here today. She crossed the plains to Oregon in 1853, settling in Marion County, five miles north of Salem. She had lived in Marion County ever since. Surviving are the following children: Lewis C. Fisher and Mrs. E. R. Vibbert, of Salem; Mrs. Sarah Irvine, Independence: Ms. Elmer Ramp, Brooks, and Mrs. Mary Wyant, San Francisco.

FISHER - At the Willamette Sanatorium, Thursday, December 16, 1915, Mrs. Susanna Fisher, at the age of 91 years.
Mrs. Fisher had been a resident of Oregon since 1853, and for the last few years has been living with her children in Salem and vicinity.
For many years after crossing the plains in 1853 she lived five mile north of Salem. After the death of her father in 1883, she moved to Salem for a year and later lived at Mehama and Marion, Oregon. For the past two years, her home has been with her daughter, Mrs. Emma Vibbert.
Surviving are five children: Lewis C. Fisher and Mrs. Emma R. Vibbert, of Salem; Mrs. Sarah Irvine, of Independence; Mrs. Elmer Ramp, of Brooks; and Mrs. Mary Wyant, of San Francisco. She is also survived by a brother, Lewis Stout, of Mehama.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the parlors of Rigson & Richardson, under the auspices of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, of this city. Burial will be a the Odd Fellows' cemetery.
