OBITUARY:
FUNERAL--Mr. J. A. Ripperton, who has been for several weeks with his family at the Dalles, telegraphs to his friends here that his oldest boy, Frank, is dead. The manner or cause of his death has not been stated. The bereaved family, with the remains, will arrive in Salem by this morning's train from Portland. Their friends will meet them at the depot on the arrival of the train, and from there accompany them direct to the Odd Fellows' cemetery.
