OBITUARY:
At the family home on the Mrs. Clarke farm three miles south of Salem, January 27, 1894, George Gibson, aged 85 years. Deceased was born in Scotland. He leaves seven children, (his wife having died in 1886 in Minnesota); Eilan Gates, George Gibson, Iowa; Marian McDonald, Agnes Wilson, and William Gibson, Minnesota; J.R. and John Gibson who own the Robertson farm, seven miles south of Salem.
