John Wesley Gritton at the residence, 1074 Fir street, Sunday, October 22, aged 85 years. Survived by widow Rhoda May Gritton of Salem; three sons, W. A. J. C. and E. G. Gritton, all of Salem; a daughter, Mrs. Clara Blankenship of Salem; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services from the chapel of Clough-Barrick company, Tuesday, October 24, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Guy Drill officiating. Interment IOOF cemetery.
