OBITUARY:
At 1:30 p.m., May 8, 1888, at the residence of Richard Kays on East State street, Preston Hamilton. Deceased was 69 years of age, and had lived in Oregon since 1863. He was the father of ten children, among them Mrs. Richard Kays and Mrs. Wm. Anderson, of Salem. The funeral will proceed from the house at 2 o'clock p.m. today (Wednesday), then to the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
