OBITUARY:
DEPARTED THIS LIFE.
Sadness in the Home of John Moyer, on State Street.
Sabilla Agnes Harms, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob. S. Moyer, died at the residence of the latter, at the southeast corner of State and Water streets, at 12 o'clock noon Tuesday January 11th, aged 27 years 1 month and 24 days. She was born on January 18, 1871. The cause of her death was consumption, of which she suffered for more than a year, during which time she was taken to California in hopes that the change of climate would be beneficial to her health.
With her husband she returned to Salem in August last and has since resided with her parents, at No. 4 State street, Besides her husband she leaves a daughter 9 years old.
The funeral was conducted at the home at 2 p.m. yesterday (Thursday) by Rev. G. W. Grannis and interment had in Rural cemetery.
