Miss Hayden was a young woman of the finest character. She was the constant companion of her aged mother, and the counselor and the constant co-laborer of her brothers in the management of the large estate left by the late Ben Hayden. Since the death of her sister, wife of Judge Maxwell, she gave herself to the charge of their little son, to whom whe has been a second mother in tenderness and devotion. She was a consistant communicant of the Episcopal church, and the service will be conducted by Rev. Barr G. Lee, of this city. Many friends join with the mother and brothers in lamenting her death.
