OBITUARY: 
Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at the home of his brother in Polk county, 3 miles northwest of Salem, Roscoe W. Hedden, aged 64 years.
He is survived by one brother, James J. Hedden, and one sister, Mrs. Lucy Gillum, who lives in Hartford, Kansas.
He was a member of the Maccabees and also had a membership in the Odd Fellows lodge at Drain where he formerly lived. For five years he has made his home with his brother near Salem, having moved with the family here. He was unmarried.
The funeral services will be held today from the chapel of Rigdon & Richardson at 10 a.m., Rev F. T. Porter will officiate. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery.

Mr. Hedden Buried
Funeral services over the late Roscoe W. Hedden, who died at the home of his brother, J. J. Hedden, three miles northwest of Salem, Sunday, January 3, were held yesterday at 10 o’clock a.m. from the chapel of Rigdon and Richardson. Rev F. T. Porter officiating. "One Sweetly Solemn Thought" and "In the Sweet Bye and Bye" were sung by a trio, composed of Rev. and Mrs. Porter and Mrs. Alice Wenger. At the cemetery the Maccabees had charge of the services. Interment was in the Odd Fellows cemetery,
