BIOGRAPHICAL: MARRIED. At the restaurant of the groom on Commercial street in this city, at 9:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 2, 1897, Mary A. Broady to C. W. Hellenbrand. The groom is a well known businessman of Salem, having conducted a restaurant and confectionery stand for many years. The ceremony was performed by H. A. Johnson, justice of the peace, in the presence of a few immediate friends of the couple, after which a choice repast was served.

OBITUARY: 
C. W. HELLENBRAND DIES AT SPOKANE. 
PIONEER RESTAURANT MAN OF Salem, DIES IN WASHINGTON. 
C. W. Hellenbrand, a pioneer restaurant man of Salem, is dead at Spokane, and will be buried at Salem about Thursday, April 15, according to present plans of relatives. Mr. Hellenbrand operated a restaurant in Salem for many years, going to Spokane about six years ago. His daughter, Miss Lottie Hellenbrand, is now the wife of the well known violinist, Prof. William Wallace Graham, of Portland.

The funeral of Charles Hellenbrand will be held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the undertaking parlors of W. T. Rigdon on Court street. The body was brought to this city at 6:40 last evening and was accompanied by the wife and brother. Interment will be in Odd Fellows' cemetery. Mr. Hellenbrand was the pioneer restaurant man of Salem.
