OBITUARY: 
George William Hubbard was born at Grants Pass, Oregon, January 27, 1890. 
He was the son of George W. and Nora Hubbard and was raised by his uncle and aunt, the late R. F. Cooley and Mrs. N. F. Cooley, until 20 years of age. He spent his last days in the Salem Hospital, having passed away there on November 17th, at the age of 22 years and 10 months. 
His was a beautiful Christian character, of a kind disposition, and was beloved by all who knew him. 
Woodburn Independent 21 November 1918.
