OBITUARY:
CALLED EARLY Perit, a bright and promising little son of J. W. Perit Huntington, died about nine o’clock yesterday evening. He had been ailing but three days. Perit was a manly and obedient boy whose gentle manners and childish innocence endeared him, not only to his parents, but to all who knew him. His place in the Sabbath School and among his young associates will be sadly vacant, and many bright eyes will glisten with a tear over his early departure. The Daily Unionist, May 22, 1869
