KY 1870 Census of North Salem shows John (age 84 b. TN and Leah (age 79 b. KY) living with their son James C. Hutton's family. "John Hutton, the father of Albert G. Hutton and James C. Hutton, was born in Mercer county, Kentucky in 1786. In Pike county, Indiana, 1826 he married Leah _____. He crossed the plains, arriving in Oregon City on the 10th of October 1853.
