1st MARRIAGE [Ona] Married at the residence of the bride’s parents, Mr and Mrs A.H. Phelps, Wednesday, October 29, 1913, Miss Gertrude B. Phelps and Chauncey S. Ohmart, Rev C.T. Hurd of Newport officiating. The bride is a popular young teacher, who has resided in this vicinity for several years. The groom is also a well known resident of this place, having moved here with his brother about a year ago. The ceremony took place at noon. Immediately after the dinner the newly married couple departed for Salem and Portland, where they will visit relatives for a fort-night. Mr and Mrs Ohmart will make their home on Mr Ohmart’s ranch at Ona. Their many friends unite in extending their hearty good wishes for a long and happy married life. OBITUARY: 

Mrs. Gertrude B. Igleheart, 3950 LaBranche St. SE, died Sunday at a Salem hospital at the age of 74.
She was a native of Lincoln, Neb., and had lived here 16 years. Mrs. Igleheart was a member of Trinity Methodist Church Neighbors of Woodcraft and Nebraska Club. She leaves her widower, Jacob H. Igleheart; sons Jiles and Waldo Ohmart, Salem, Rex Ohmart, Mill City; brothers Clifford Phelps, Salem, Arthur Phelps, Portland; sisters Mrs. Lyle Lewis, Portland, Mrs. Neta Twombly, Waldport and Mrs. Helen Crosno, Toledo. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in W. T. Rigdon chapel with Rev. William O. Walker officiating. Interment will be at Pioneer Cemetery.
