1880 OR CENSUS - T. C. (Wid.) Jeffries, age 68, b. Tennessee, is enumerated with daughter Junnie, age 27, b. Oregon, and daughter Flora, age 22, b. 22, b. Oregon.
DEATH CERTIFICATE: 
OBITUARY: 
At Grant's Wasco county, Oregon, Monday, Feb. 13, 1888, Mrs. T. C. Jeffrey, aged 78 years. The deceased was the relict of George Jeffrey, a former resident of Marion county, who died about seventeen years ago. She came to Oregon in 1847, and settled in Salem, living where Jos. Baker's house now is; then moved to their farm six miles south of Salem. She went from Salem to Portland about three years ago, and then went to Grant's to live with her daughter, Mrs. C. C. Kinney, where she died. She was the sister of Mrs. A. M. Bewley, and mother of Dr. C. W. Jeffrey, of Salem. The body will be up on this morning's train, and the funeral will take place from the M. E. church at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Thos. Van Scoy officiating.
